Essential Oil Tip of The Week...Helichrysum!!!

Helichrysum
(Helichrysum italicum)

Item No. 3563 5ml
Whsl: $83.75
Retail: $110.20
TIP 1: It is also thought to be a strong chelator, supporting liver function and potentially drawing heavy metals and toxins out of the body.

TIP 2: Because of it's anti-spasmodic qualities, it could be beneficial in aiding with headaches, migraines, asthma and bronchitis.

TIP 3: Some like to use Helichrysum with hazelnut oil as a carrier to help with any rash, acne, eczema, skin infection, etc.

TIP 4: If you bruise easily, apply helichrysum NEAT or diluted if you prefer, to the bruise.

TIP 5: Because of helichrysum's anti-inflammatory affect, try using it on cuts, burns, and infections.

BONUS TIP: Helichrysum has what is called an anti-tussive property which is beneficial for those who are tired and exhausted of continuous coughing and gives relief from coughs due to deposition of phlegm in the respiratory tracts as well as due to itchiness in throat caused by infections (cold etc.).

* Not all oils or oil companies are the same! Young Living oils are THE ONLY oils I would trust with internal use! Occasionally an oil will feel "hot", if this happens, or you get an oil in your eye, add a carrier oil to dilute it, NEVER water, remember oil and water don't mix! A good carrier oil could be Young Living's V6 oil or something you cook with like olive or coconut oil.

PROPERTIES of Helichrysum include: anti-spasmodic, anti-coagulant, anti-allergenic, anti-microbial, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, nervine, expectorant, mucolytic, fungicidal, diuretic, relaxant, anti-depressant, anti-tussive.
