Essential Oil Tip of The Week...Ginger!!!

Ginger
(Zingiber officinale)

Whsl: 5 ml bottle $13.25
Retail: $17.43

PV: $13.25

TIP 1: Ginger root has been traditionally used throughout time to ease an upset belly, so you might want to try this oil if you have digestive challenges ailing you.

TIP 2: This oil can be used in your cooking, too! When you are tossing together a dish that calls for ginger root, you might want to try using the oil instead which is extracted through steam distillation of the ground up root. Remember the oil is VERY concentrate. Some suggest using a toothpick and inserting it into the bottle to get it wet and then swirling it in your food to spread the flavor.

TIP 3: You can use Ginger oil with a hot compress to help ease the aches and pains of muscular discomforts and inflammation in the skeletal system.

TIP 4: You can add this oil to your creams or lotions to help with poor circulation and bruising.

TIP 5: You can also diffuse Ginger or add it to you bath to help with respiratory struggles.

Therapeutic Properties of Ginger: analgesic, anti-emetic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, bactericidal, carminative, cephalic, expectorant, febrifuge, laxative, rubefacient,
stimulant, stomachic, sudorific and tonic.

* Not all oils or oil companies are the same! Young Living oils are THE ONLY oils I would trust with internal use! Occasionally an oil will feel "hot", if this happens, or you get an oil in your eye, add a carrier oil to dilute it, NEVER water, remember oil and water don't mix! A good carrier oil could be Young Living's V6 oil or something you cook with like olive or coconut oil.
